To the award ceromony of the first German Betriebsmeisterschaft on April 3rd 2005 the Curling-association invited two pipers of the CAVERHILL GUARDIANS into the achievement center in Baden-Württemberg. Very much to the joy of the interested teams that have arrived from all over the country. The amateur-teams were able to enter the arenas to the well known sounds such as „Scotland the Brave“ as it is comment in international contests. For the pipers, the unaccustomed march on the ice area was to be sure the larger challenge than the providing of the musical achievement.
