Its fun to be a
member - who is game?
You either learn how to play the bagpipe or the not less
prententious scottish drumming! Parallel to our regular
practices we are educating beginners in these fields. The
finishing is made by certified trainers of the College of Piping,
Glasgow. For example Stefan
Bender, George Stewart und Lucy Greenwell are at the repeated
workshops through out the year in pleasent surrounding in the Black
Forrest or the Alb. Education in bagpiping and drumming is for a
whole weekend the center of attention. Another very interesting
possibility for education is the Summer School of Piping in
Odenwald, which
takes place yearly. It is a one week class with highly experienced
trainers from Scottland, Denmark, England, Canada and Germany. The
castle Burg Breuberg - one of Germanys most beautiful youth hostels
- is setting just the right atmosphere.
Anybody
who is willing to play along with us, no matter whether you are a
beginner or have alredy some musical experiences, young or old, male
or female, is welcome at anytime to become an active member! Practice
is every Wednesday at 8 pm, sometimes unignoreable, in the basement
of primary school in Hardt, near Schramberg.
